Universal UR shards
Where to regularly get the main material for stellar upgrades of UR heroes, who to spend it on, and how to earn points in two events at once with one action.

The hero's scarcest resource
The universal UR shard replaces the nominal shard during stellar leveling of most UR heroes. Don't distribute the supply among all the characters: strengthen one key hero of the first squad to the selected target.
Permanent sources
Upgrade your options to rewards with UR shards. Send a valuable caravan separately and cover it with the strongest detachment.
Update tasks and choose gold operations with universal or useful personalized shards.
Collect tickets and use them on Heroes Day. Summon rewards provide personalized UR shards and help unlock new characters.
What to buy every week
- Alliance Store: usually up to 5 universal UR shards per week update.
- Expedition Store: usually up to 10 fragments - one of the best predictable sources.
- Sanctuary Store: usually up to 10 shards for available in-game currency.
- VIP store: 5-10 fragments at a suitable VIP level, but do not leave your account without diamonds for shields and important events.
- Honor Store: don't rush to buy fragments. After unlocking the star upgrade of UR equipment, blueprints become a rarer and more valuable purchase.
Events and awards
Complete milestone rewards every day. The fragments are accumulated not by one large issue, but by constantly executing phases.
Universal shards are available as event rewards, but the result depends on strength, activity and place in the ranking.
A high place in the advanced arena brings a weekly reward. This is a stable source only for a sufficiently strong first squad.
When to spend
Two events with one improvement
Don't start star leveling right after Thursday. First, open the “Survival Battle” calendar and wait for the “Hero Strengthening”. In this window, the consumption of fragments is counted simultaneously in both activities.
Priority for a player without donation
- Determine the main squad and one UR hero that you are leveling up now.
- Check caravans and secret operations with UR rewards every day.
- After the weekly update, buy shards in the alliance, expedition and Sanctuary stores.
- Save your summoning tickets and shards before Thursday.
- Wait until the day of the Duel Heroes coincides with the “Strengthening Heroes” phase.
- Stop after a planned upgrade or a needed chest - don't invest the rest in spare heroes just for the sake of points.
Common mistakes
- Distribute universal shards among all open UR heroes.
- Spend the reserve on Thursday before the start of the “Strengthening Heroes” phase.
- Upgrade a weak backup hero just for the sake of the next event chest.
- Spending all your honor currency on shards and later being left without UR drawings.
- Upgrade caravans and operations with diamonds without a preset limit.
- Consider advertising weekly earnings estimates as a guarantee: results depend on updates, ratings and account strength.
Caravans → secret operations → alliance stores, expeditions and Sanctuaries → events and arena. Save until Thursday and spend only during the “Strengthen Heroes” phase.
