How to properly beat the Corrupted Demon King

Damage to the boss gives daily rewards and points in the kingdom confrontation. High overall power helps, but the composition, reinforcements and preparation of one specific campaign often decide the result.

Main principle

Don't go on a regular combat mission. For the boss, select heroes separately, rearrange equipment and epigraphs, and enable available bonuses. After an attack, evaluate the statistics, not just the final damage number.

Composition → equipment → epigraphs → enhancements → attack → analysis of statistics → several retries.

1. Select a squad for the boss type

There are three variants of the Demon King in the analysis: Warrior, Sorcerer and Ranger. If all three types of troops are well developed, use a specialized unit for each boss.

If you're primarily developing one type, don't rebuild your entire account for the boss. Take a strong main squad and adapt it with support heroes, damage dealers, equipment and buffs. A good basic type build can outperform a weak "right" pack.

2. What to do before the first attack

  1. Activate Battle Madness. According to the author's description, the effect can be obtained by attacking or reconnaissance of the enemy. If you don't want to engage in battle, send a reconnaissance and return it immediately. Check for the effect to appear before hitting the boss.
  2. Enable damage bonuses for monsters. The initial breakdown shows a decoration with +5% and a matching skin/paraglider with another +5%; an item in the collection can give a passive bonus. Check which effects are available to your account.
  3. Select the Raven skin if it is available and gives the desired effect.
  4. Use the royal boost and attack bonus, if it is possible to get them for a series of attempts. It is especially useful to plan such attacks when the kingdom is fighting for KVK points.

3. Support Heroes: Claire, Ash and Stellar

A strong campaign against the boss is built not only from legendary heroes. Purple support increases the damage of a certain type of troops against monsters.

Troop typeHeroWhat does the author’s analysis give?
WarriorsClaireThe three Warriors with the highest attack receive +20% damage against monsters.
RangersAshThe two Rangers with the highest attack receive +20% damage against monsters.
SorcerersStellarIncreases the damage of the main Sorcerers against monsters; the exact meaning is not specified in the provided analysis.

Author's guideline for key skill - level 10–15, for the hero himself - from 8 stars with a further goal of 10 stars. These are recommendations for development, and not a mandatory threshold for access to the boss.

4. Pack of Warriors

Claire - Harper - Marlena - Zoe - Bell. This option is shown in the original video as a strong build for a developed account.

Why Bell

Bell gives the two allies with the highest attack +40% attack. Therefore, a hero of another troop type may be more useful than the fifth regular Warrior.

If Bell is not there

Give the fifth slot to a strong DD: Cynthia or Scarlet Witch from the Rangers; Joker or Anya from The Sorcerers. A more affordable option from the analysis is Celia.

Last fallback

Arthur is mentioned only in cases where there is really no one to put in place. Choose according to the development of your heroes, and not according to one ready-made scheme.

5

Pack of Sorcerers

Working diagram: Stellar + Sorcerer support + Joker + Anya + universal support. In the account shown, Harper was fifth because he is more developed than the alternatives. If your other type of support is stronger, compare it over several attempts.

Possible replacements for analysis: developed DD of Rangers, Marlena and other strong heroes. Nicole goes well with the fire that Joker and Anya support; The author does not recommend automatically transferring it to a pack of someone else’s troop type.

6

Rangers pack

Ash - Bell - Cynthia - Scarlet Witch - Harper. Ash gives a profile bonus on monsters, Bell buffs heroes with high attack, Cynthia and Scarlet Witch deal the main damage, and Harper serves as a universal buff and front line.

7. Epigraphs: first the profile set

Warriors → military; Rangers → ranger; Sorcerers → sorcerers. Before sending, check the kit separately: after other activities, inappropriate epigraphs may remain on the squad. Read more about the development of the system in guide to Raven's epigraphs.

Experimental hypothesis: The author noticed that some of the epigraphs “Defense” and “Initiative” have some of the effects described for allies in general. Perhaps a strong epigraph of someone else's type is sometimes more useful than a weak profile one. The author directly says that this not 100% confirmed. Check on your results and do not consider it as established mechanics.

8. Rearrange equipment for the boss

The best item doesn't have to be on the hero with the highest overall power. The analysis especially highlighted purple gloves: after transferring the glove from Claire to Harper, the expected increase did not work out, and the author returned it to Claire, checking the damage statistics.

Support heroes who do not require maximum personal damage can be temporarily given tank equipment. Their task is to survive, use their skills and strengthen the main damage dealers. Before a series of attempts, it is permissible to redistribute protective items from regular tanks.

Bet a strong item on the one who really creates the damage of this pack; Confirm your choice with the contributions of the heroes in the battle report.

9. Check your placement

  1. Fix the composition, equipment, epigraphs and enhancements.
  2. Swap only two heroes.
  3. Carry out several attacks and compare the range of results.
  4. If it gets worse, return to your previous position.

In the original video, the option with Marlena in the first row showed the worst result, and the original arrangement was restored. This is an example of a verification method, and not a universal prohibition against such a position.

10. Don’t confuse a successful crit with a better build.

  • The damage to the boss varies noticeably from attempt to attempt.
  • The record immediately after replacing a hero does not prove that the replacement has improved the lineup.
  • Compare multiple attempts and normal damage range for the same buffs.
11

See the contribution of each hero

After the attack, open the battle record. In one test from the video, Claire applied approx. 206 million, Harper - about 122 million. The overall result was high due to a successful crit, but the heroes' contribution did not confirm the benefit of transferring key equipment to Harper.

Compare the final damage with who exactly caused it. Then it is easier to understand what worked: a new build or a random high result.

12. If only one type of troops is developed

Continue to beat the boss even when its type does not match your specialization. In analysis, an account with weak Rangers uses strong Warriors against the Ranger boss and, due to support, equipment, epigraphs, “Battle Madness”, appearance, royal bonus and placement, overtakes some of the more powerful players.

A well-assembled main pack is better than a poorly developed profile pack. Compare options across a series of strikes before changing your account development strategy.

13. Procedure before a series of strikes

  1. Look at the type of today's boss and choose the best available troop type.
  2. Place a profile purple hero: Claire, Ash or Stellar.
  3. Select the main DD and the best support; check the arrangement.
  4. Rearrange equipment, especially key gloves, and profile epigraphs.
  5. Check damage bonuses for monsters, appearance, available attack bonus and King strengthening.
  6. Activate Combat Frenzy, then attack.
  7. Open the battle statistics and give it a few tries before evaluating the change.

14. Where to allocate resources

PriorityWhat to develop
FirstKey skills of support heroes, main damage dealers, profile epigraphs, important equipment and gloves.
ThenSupport stars, additional sets of equipment, a second strong support hero and specialized damage dealers.

This is the order inferred from the parsing provided. Increasing overall power without setting up a campaign does not in itself guarantee high damage against the boss.

15

Why fight for results?

In addition to his contribution to KVK, the author notes daily rating awards. According to him, hits in top 20 and especially in top 10; Among the rewards are steel, resources and scarce equipment stones. Check the list of rewards and thresholds in the current game interface.

✓

The main thing

High damage is the result of the work of the entire team: heroes → skills → support → equipment → epigraphs → enhancements → arrangement → retries and analysis. A player with less overall power can deal more damage if he chooses to target the boss.
